MyMathFriend now speaks French: free math practice in three languages
In shortMyMathFriend now works in Korean, English and French. Pick a language from the menu at the top and the same page opens in that language.
What is in French
All 8 stages, 129 units and 476 steps, with their problems and explanations, plus the guides, the blog, sign-up, login and the privacy policy. It can also help children in French immersion or at a French-language school abroad. Open Learn and try the language menu.

What changes in French
We did not just swap the words. The French version uses the notation children see at school in France.
| Item | On the French pages |
|---|---|
| Decimals | 3,5 instead of 3.5, with a comma key on the number pad |
| Large numbers | 12 345 instead of 12,345 |
| Time | 3 h 30, 8 h |
| Coins | 10 c (centimes) instead of 10¢ |
| Number names | French names such as soixante-dix (70) and quatre-vingts (80) |
| Age and level | French school levels next to each stage, such as 7–8 ans · CP–CE1 |
School levels are a rough guide based on content. The course order comes from the Korean elementary curriculum, so it is not the same as the French programme.
Progress stays when you switch
In the same browser, stars, XP and badges stay when you change language. Members can log in to continue on another device.
We will keep polishing the French wording. If something sounds off, write to the contact address at the end of the privacy policy.
Also fixed
- In the carrying steps, the easier level could produce a problem with a negative answer. That no longer happens.
- Percentage and decimal multiplication answers and explanations could show long numbers such as 20.999999999999996. Those are gone.
- The FAQ now says Stages 3 to 7 are provisional, not Stages 2 to 7.
